Getting Started with DRT (Before a Journey Can Begin)

To initiate the use of your DRT service, please follow these key steps:

• Set up any necessary service areas and assign administrators, passengers, drivers, and vehicles accordingly.
• Ensure that passengers have been added and provided with a What3Words pinpoint location for their nearest bus stop or virtual bus stop.
• Enable DRT Home Pickup for any passengers who need to be picked up from home in their profile settings.
• Add a Virtual Bus stop and Bus stop location category, and select the option 'Is Virtual Bus Stop' to indicate to Road XS to use this location for DRT.
• Add the locations that passengers will travel to, ensuring that each location has a What3Words pinpoint assigned and that the location has a Virtual Bus Stop or Bus Stop category assigned to it (otherwise Road  XS won't use this stop for the DRT).

Once these steps are completed, you may contact us to review the settings for your DRT service and proceed with setting up a time window to allow the DRT service to commence.
