Checking the MOT of a Driver's Vehicle or Youe Fleet Vehicles in Road XS
To check the MOT details for a volunteer driver, you can simply load their profile and their vehicle details will show under Vehicle Details on the profile screen. This includes:
- The vehicle registration
- Make and model of the vehicle
- Any capacity of the vehicle
- When the MOT is due
- The type of vehicle.
When you load your drivers from the 'Main Menu' then selecting 'Drivers', the list of drivers will show their status including whether an MOT is coming up for renewal or not.
From the dashboard, you can also directly access this list from the 'Drivers Need Updating' box.
Updating the Driver Vehicle Details
To update the details of a volunteer driver's MOT, you can simply:
- Load the driver profile (via search or from drivers via the main menu)
- Select 'Vehicle Details'
- On 'Vehicle Registration' make sure the registration is added and you can press 'Lookup MOT'
The fields beneath will show you the MOT records.
Checking the MOT Status of Vehicles in Your Fleet
To check the MOT status of vehicles in your fleet, simply:
- Select the 'Main Menu'
- Select 'Vehicles' (if enables via access controls)
- Select the pencil icon to edit the vehicle
- Enter the registration number of the vehicle to lookup an MOT or just check the details.
This will show you the details for your vehicles in Road XS.
