Why Should I Not Edit DRT Times Manually?

When observing a DRT route that has been created, it may be tempting to manually adjust the DRT times.

However, doing so presents a problem: if you edit the times manually, Road XS will no longer be able to take these times into account when considering other passengers traveling at the same time, or any future bookings added to the system.

The reason for this is that when a time is manually added, the calculated Road XS time is overwritten and becomes irrelevant to the remaining calculations. Your manual time becomes merely a visual number and does not correspond to any other passenger times on the journey.

This can lead to pickups being displayed before drop-offs or even cause the routes to fail entirely.

It is always advisable to cancel a passenger's booking and re-book them, rather than editing the times manually.
