How to Setup Two Factor Authentication (2FA)
Road XS is equipped with pre-configured two-factor authentication (2FA) to enhance security.
Understanding Two Factor Authentication
Two-factor authentication serves as an additional layer of security to verify the identity of the user accessing the software.
Setting Up Two Factor Authentication in Road XS
To enable 2FA for your Road XS profile:
Step 1)
Download the free Google Authenticator App from Google Play or the Apple App Store on your iPhone/tablet. Once installed on your device, open the app and link it to Road XS.
The 6-digit code generated by the app will be used as part of the new login process. Simply open the app each time and enter the auto-generated code. The timer in the app indicates the time remaining before the code changes.

Step 2)
Sign into your Road XS account using the installed app on your device.
Step 3)
Click on your name in the top row on the right (next to the icons).
Step 4)
Choose 'My Account'.
Step 5)
Click the 'Click Here to Enable' button next to Two Factor Authentication.
On the popup window, select 'Get Started'.
Now, open the Google Authenticator App, and press the + icon (top right), selecting 'Scan Barcode' when prompted - you may need to allow access to your device's camera at this stage.
Step 7)
Scan the code with your phone (allowing camera access if prompted) and then enter the code presented in the authenticator app:

Once the code is entered, you will receive a confirmation message. Simply press the X to close the confirmation window.
Step 9)
We recommend logging out and logging back in. When you log back in, enter your username and password as usual, but you will be prompted to enter the code generated by the Google Authenticator app.
Enter your code and press login.
Step 10)
Once logged in, you can work as usual and access the Dashboard.
After completing the above steps, each time you log in to Road XS, you will need to enter your username and password, as well as the authentication code provided by the Google Authenticator app on your phone. This ensures that no one can access your account without the authenticator code.
Please Note
The code changes every 30 seconds and turns red when it's about to change. Once it changes, you will need to enter the new code to gain access.
