How to Add an Admin User
Adding users to Road XS is straightforward.
Once the admin roles have been added you can add a user as follows (if your account has the appropriate access rights):
- Select the Main Menu
- Select Settings
- Select Admin Users
- Click the button Add New Administrator
- Select the Role for the user
- Add the First Name and Last Name
- Enter the Email Address
- Add a username (You can use their email address as their username so they don’t have to remember a username but make sure you inform them the user name is case sensitive too)
- Add a password and then again to confirm the password
- Assign the related departments – basically select journey management and for them to receive notifications
- Select any service areas you would like them to add to (you can add more than one - if they're not in any they won't see anything when logging in)
- Add any notes about the user
- Enter your password to validate the changes
- Select ‘Save Changes’
The user will now have been added to Road XS.
Important:
- The username and password are case sensitive, meaning if their username was 'Richard' and they entered the username as 'richard' when logging in, they would not be able to login as it doesn't match the username even if the password was correct. It's the same for the password.
- A user will only see journeys , passengers, driver and vehicles if they have been allocated to the appropriate service area(s).
