Enabling Driver Do Not Disturb Mode

Often, a driver may indicate that they are 'Busy' and proceed to be out of office due to holiday or other commitments. However, the following week, they may appear available for journeys. This raises a concern regarding contacting the driver, which can be addressed using the Do Not Disturb feature.

To provide a clearer illustration, consider two consecutive weeks:

• Week 1: The driver is on holiday and unavailable for any journeys.
• Week 2: This is the week following the driver's return from holiday. However, the office attempts to contact the driver during week 1 to assign journeys for week 2.

In Do Not Disturb Mode, the driver lookup feature will display a specific pattern indicating the driver's status. Similarly, on logging into the desktop driver portal, the driver will be notified of their current status, whether it is busy or in do not disturb mode. This status can be easily updated to reflect their availability.

Please Note:

Even when in Do Not Disturb mode, all of the driver's contact information remains visible, allowing contact in case of emergencies or when a driver is urgently needed during their absence.
