The Journey Workflow / Process Explained
When a journey is created in Road XS, all the details are stored and presented in an easy-to-follow layout. Each journey provides the following information:
Journey ID
For each journey created in the system, it will have a unique tracking ID allocated to it which is displayed below an icon. This icon is linked to the journey source and has a unique color allocated to it. Car journeys are represented by a car icon, and minibus journeys are represented by a minibus icon. Any journey can be found directly by its unique journey ID code in the search bar.
Passenger Details
Under this column, you can find the passenger's name and the number of people traveling in the vehicle. For example, if the journey shows 1/3, this means one passenger is traveling out of a potential maximum of 3 (leaving two spaces remaining). To add more passengers to this journey, you can click into the journey and select "manage passengers."
Appointment Details
This provides the appointment details of the journey and also indicates whether the journey is part of a recurring journey set.
From and To
This indicates the origin and destination of the journey for quick reference.
Driver
This indicates which driver is allocated to the journey. If no driver has been allocated yet, the journey will be marked as pending.
Pickup Date and Time
This indicates the pickup date and time as agreed upon with the allocated driver.
Status
This shows the current status of the journey.
