Verifying Journey Information
Whenever you create a journey in Road XS, you will need to verify the information of the journey. The reason for this is to ensure that incorrect information does not create issues further down the journey!
For example, let's imagine the payment source was incorrect. This would mean that the automated invoicing system would display journeys from the wrong payment source on an invoice, requiring a significant amount of manual intervention.
Or imagine the estimated mileage was off by 1200 miles, indicating that a location is incorrectly pinned on the map and needs to be adjusted in the passenger, driver, or location profile.
By verifying the journey information, you will prevent issues further down the line with Road XS' automation systems.
When you click to verify, you will be presented with a prompt to double-check the journey information or to verify it there and then. Road XS will prompt you to verify a journey before you allocate a driver to improve data entry capture accuracy.
